We’ll be placing our annual order with Fedco Trees on January 16 and Fedco Seeds on February 5. You are welcome to order with us and receive whatever volume discount we qualify for. Last year everybody got 20% off! The deadline for tree orders is January 15, seed order deadline February 3. Please let me know as soon as possible if you’re planning to participate.
To order, use the Contact Us link and I will send you the instructions to set up your order through the Fedco website. CSA members who want to pay for their order when they pick up their February box can do so by arranging it in advance.
Trees must be picked up when they arrive (usually in April, or a similarly appropriate time of year). Seeds can be picked up in February when they arrive.
If you aren’t familiar with them, Fedco is a worker-owned cooperative that provides the highest quality and most affordable heirloom, organic, biodynamic, non-GMO, and non-proprietary seeds and plants for cold climates (they’re in Maine). Check out their offerings at fedcoseeds.com. They offer discounts for group orders, which will be shipped to the farm.
